The St. Jean River has long been distinguished as one of the Gaspé Peninsula's most beautiful rivers.  It's emerald green waters have been documented in articles, poems, and photo essays.

The river's headwaters originate in the Chic-Choc Mountains and flows over a distance of 121 km.

It eventually ends in the Douglastown sector lagoon within the town of Gaspé.

Our private fishing sector, exclusive to Pavilion guests, stretches over crystal clear water giving access to numerous pools for 8 anglers.

At the Pavilion our professional guiding staff that will get you fishing over fish.  Each guide has many years experience both guiding Atlantic salmon fisherman and navigating the St. Jean River by poling our river canoes. This "classic" experience includes a hot shore lunch prepared daily by our guides.  This "one of a kind" service is not duplicated anywhere in Eastern Canada.

"The excellent service, cuisine and fishing are complimented by the friendly, well-trained and competent staff who work very hard to serve you in the facility, the dining room and on the river!"
